Mothers Day Mayhem

It's May.  Already?!  Oh, yes.  Next Sunday is Mother's day.  Today I am pondering what type of craft we could come up with for Ellie's class.  Something sweet, inexpensive and adorable.  Any ideas?  If you have some craft in your blood, could you share?

We don't have any plans for Mother's day just yet.  Surely that will change.  Either we will have a house full or we will be headed somewhere awesome.  Last Mother's day we visited with Sam's Mom.  Here are a few snapshots:

We feel it is important for our kids to know and understand how much she loved them.  So we hang out at the cemetery and tell them stories.  We also take her cookies and flowers.  She is still an important part of our lives.  And we miss her more than I could have ever thought possible.

Hope you make some great plans to share with your Mother!  No matter where she may be.  Whether close or far or even in Heaven...make a way to let her know how much you love her!

It's funny, the very next item I read in google reader after yours was a cute, easy craft for mother's day.

Did you get any ideas? I loved this one on Bloom

Normally I don't like the little handmade gifts that turn to clutter. But I have a couple that I use. I would totally use a clipboard; a regular size one would even be better.
